POSITION

BILINGUAL PROJECT MANAGER (Part-time)

Location: US or Senegal

 

BILINGUAL PROJECT MANAGER - Part time, hybrid Consulting position, expected to work about three days per week for 4-6 months. This position could be based in the US or Senegal.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • 5 or more years of project management experience and related field

  • Bilingual: able to speak and write fluently in English & French

  • Experienced in meeting deliverables on complex projects

  • Familiar with project management best practices and functionalities

  • Ability to be flexible with daily tasks and responsibilities

  • Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field

  • Healthcare background preferred

  • Graduate degree a plus

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage teams of professionals and personnel duties to fulfill goals

  • Provide judgment based on due diligence evaluation of facts and demonstrate proven ability to solve problems creatively

  • Provide consistent updates to leadership about strategy, progress, and any adjustments required

  • Ensure appropriate procedures are followed and contribute to defining working standards to the appropriate parties

  • Identify, plan, and track project tasks, activities, and deliverables

  • Adequately assess risk when making business decisions, applying sound ethical judgment and exhibiting professional conduct while displaying firm consideration for the company’s reputation

  • Understanding of business practices, managing and report issues with full transparency

  • Support the team to foster accountability and ensure quality and standards are being maintained

  • Assess project performance to adequately identify areas for improvement

  • Proven ability to complete projects in accordance to outlined goals and budget, meeting them within set timelines

  • Strong interpersonal skills. Must be extremely resourceful

PROJECT ACCOUNTANT - Consultant (Part-time)

LOCATION: Maryland, USA

 

Qualifications

 

  • 3 or more years of project accounting experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Book-keeping

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Must be able to handle book-keeping

  • Assist in the management of project accounts

  • Reviewing project budgets, ensuring project reports are clear and updated with billing structures, costs, and other variances

  • Review billing and ensure payment accuracy in different currencies

  • Provide timely reporting to management

  • Process invoices, both incoming and outgoing

  • Review billing and payments are accuracy

  • Update management on project status

  • Experience with US government financed projects a plus

This is a part-time hybrid position expected to work 1-2 days per week based in Maryland, USA
